INDIANAPOLIS, IN –
Virtuoso Education Consulting will partner with Scholastic Achievement Partners to conduct school site visits to evaluate strengths and areas of needs in order to inform school improvement planning for the Indiana Department of Education. Needs assessments will provide schools with guidance on strategies to implement to improve rigor, relevance, and relationships with students.
Virtuoso will be one of Scholastic’s two subcontractors providing School Support Teams for the State of Indiana. The evaluation team, comprised of the Indiana Department of Education and the Indiana Department of Administration, reviewed proposals from eight vendors and evaluated them based on the following criteria: adherence to requirements, management assessment/quality, pricing proposal, Indiana economic impact, Buy Indiana/Indiana company and minority-owned and woman-owned business participation.
“We are honored to be involved with Scholastic Achievement Partners for this evaluation project and look forward to applying our expertise to help the public schools and students of Indiana,” explains Renae Azziz, CEO of Virtuoso Education Consulting.
Among highlighted strengths in the winning proposal were experience with state departments of education and low performing school districts around the country, the variety of tools and large staff used to evaluate and monitor schools and school personnel and the demonstration of short and long term goals. Such assets are examples of experience and systems offered by Virtuoso Education Consulting. At the State’s discretion, Scholastic and Virtuoso Education Consulting can potentially be awarded three, one-year renewals (for a total of four years) to continue services.
Virtuoso Education Consulting has a rich history of providing support to educators at all levels. Scholastic, a longtime partner with educators and school districts, has recently created Scholastic Achievement Partners to make an even greater impact on teaching and learning.
